I must profess that I have been out of the field of photography for many, many years. So it was with some surprise that I saw photos with this technique used. I am not sure how I feel about it, because I prefer natural lighting and effects above all else. For more info on HDRI, see the page on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_dynamic_range_imaging) from which I lifted the present photo.
